Chris, I will be the first to admit that I may not fully appreciate the problem, but if I could just continue to use my present computer and present software, then I'd be happy. What concerns me is my perception that if I'm ever forced to buy a new computer- maybe because my old one fell off the desk and smashed, or a lightning strike melted it, or it finally wore out and couldn't be fixed- or just want to buy one for more speed and capacity, then my old software won't work. (See my previous fearful post) I've been told that if I buy a new computer after the first of next year, it will boot in OS X only. Is that correct? And if it is, am I correct in thinking that all of my old software will be useless?
