Re: my opinion that AT & T might be "extending, and supporting, an 
already existing monopoly." 

I guess the fact that some would interpret it as not, and some would, is 
the reason why it took so long for them to decide whether MS had a 
monopoly and what to do about it and that is why lawyers make money - 
because the situation is not always so cut and dried.

I know nothing is going to be done about it, but some days the pain 
factor affects my ability to withstand  simple aggravations....<sigh>
