It happened to me ("Reading 1 of 0) a number of times earlier today, but
has not occurred to me later. Even when there were evidently messages
waiting and I had outgoing messages waiting. The error message I got was
Connecting to America Online using Account "America Online"
Establishing connection
Checking password
Reading 1 of 0
** Connection lost: Hardware driver not accepting data.
Disconnecting
