Not entirely true any more. There is now a version of Emailer with limited SMTP Authentication support. It can ONLY use the same auth info as your POP settings for the account (ie: same username and password), and it can ONLY do the Login method of authentication. But for many, that is enough to make it usable. (It also only works on PPC machines, the 68k and FAT versions of Emailer have not been patched to support SMTP Auth). You can get this version from <http://www.mythtech.net/emailer/Emailer_App_Mods/CE-P3_SMTPAuth.sit> In addition to SMTP Auth support, this version also changes the Mail From to use the email address rather than the email account (so Emailer now works the same as all other mail clients), and adds support for multiple @ signs in the Email Account field (important for people who's username is their full email address). -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
