It's not you, it's me. I've commented on parallel port a bit, so I tend

"worked fine" = I was able to see and set the base and extended register
values to EPP mode with my parallel port utility.

I don't have Windows on any PC's, but may be able to scare up Windows
98. I'm not sure how to test EPP functions in Windows.
