I just pulled it and built it with the same env and Makefile, which reminded me of another problem. gene@shop:~/linuxcnc/emc-camunits-08e1dc7233e8c7936cd760212305a28f7fad53e3$ make clean;make rm -f *.so *.o gcc -fPIC -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 - I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/linuxcnc -DULAPI -c -o halio.o halio.c Package gl was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gl.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'gl', required by 'glu', not found gcc -shared -o halio.so halio.o -llinuxcnchal -lglut I cannot install libgl* on 10.04.4 because it rips out all the mesa-swx11 stuff, and then the camera is out of synch & useless. Also, without an edit to the Makefile, the install path changed to /usr/LOCAL/lib/camunits, where the previous install put it in /usr/lib/camunits. So I'll need to nuke or rename that one and rerun ldconfig. Humm it doesn't work, no dro, and no emc-halio tab either. So I nuked the one in /usr/LOCAL/ etc, still doesn't work, and I should be back to where I started. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to make this thing work again? It worked about 15 times in a row, but didn't seem to SAVE the stuff I had adjusted. It is using SOME of that config file, but the minute I try something like this its all blown up again. I've been screwing with this off & on since June. I get it working mostly, and repeatable even if it won't save a working config file, for two hours, I ask for a box behind the dro, and the whole thing blows up again. I'm gonna go thin out the surplus cats, we've about a dozen that have no clue where home is. And I am not feeding them. Frustrating is a word I've worn out. I'l piddle with the makefile & see if I can see why it changed the target directory. I have found that moving it only crashes LCNC. Weather moving in, and I have an order for 4 BIG bowls of Wendy's chili to ride out the storm with. Acc the weather folks, my new generator might get tested. > I have uploaded the file on the wiki: > http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Adding_Digital_Zoom_To_Camview- > Emc The patch is not very good because the box size is not properly > linked to the DRO font size. > You may have to adapt for your setup. > > Frederic. > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > ------ DreamFactory - Open Source REST & JSON Services for HTML5 & > Native Apps OAuth, Users, Roles, SQL, NoSQL, BLOB Storage and External > API Access Free app hosting.
