I never have, from the time I quit using the camview-emc starter to using
the funny named camview-emc-f1oat.py, which to prevent ell & one confusion
is now named camview-emc-float.py on my machine. I assumed the f1oat was
a typu?

Which repo?, synaptic is not showing me that exact choice. But when I
do get a server that shows it, I find that it is installed. As is its
-dev package.
Its here:
gene@shop$ ls -l `locate libGLU.so.1`
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 2012-09-22 17:37 /usr/lib/libGLU.so.1 ->
libGLU.so.1.3.070701
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 456380 2012-07-09 19:52 /usr/lib/libGLU.so.1.3.070701
And now I am puzzled. So I am going to rename halio.c to halio.c-patched
and, pull both the py script and your new halio.c, rebuild halio.so IF it
will & test, right now.
But I can't, I seem to have miss-laid the link to the wiki page with your new
halio.c as a link at the bottom of it, and its apparently not indexed and
findable from the top of the wiki. So if you can supply that url again,
I'd be most appreciative.
Cheers, Gene
