Yes, Laurie did make a duplicate post today. However, we have to remember that 
the vagaries of our server and the email system often produce long delays in 
sending our posts. Laurie was attempting to reply, and, after not seeing her 
first post distributed, had posted her reply again. After not seeing the second 
post distributed, she contacted me to find out why she wasn't being allowed to 
post! Just as we talked, the first post arrived.

As a point of interest, I find that my administrative posts often take only 30 
seconds to make the San Diego-Piscataway-San Diego trip. However, some of my 
posts to the list have taken 2 hours or more to be distributed.

We just have to trust that our posts will be distributed in a reasonable amount 
of time, but, YMMV. And we all need to remember that some list member may be a 
few hours "out-of-sync" in a discussion.
