Folks, You should not be suprised to hear that the EC does have some requirements for exposure to magnetic, electric and electromagnetic fields (despite the title indicating differently). They can be found in COUNCIL RECOMMENDATION 1999/519/EC on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields (0 Hz to 300 GHz). Note however that the values contained therein are for EXPOSURE and not EMISSION and so (at least in theory) it is necessary to take account of other fields in the vicinity. This is the same document that contains exposure requirements for em fields given off by mobile phones, security scanners and the like. In these cases however there are European Standards (ENs) which enable a manufacturer to make EMISSION measurements on their equipment (produced by CENELEC TC106X). Hope this helps...
