http://www.ieee-pses.org/symposium http://www.emc2004.org/ -------------------------------------------------- Hello, Sorry I disagree with the initial response. Certainly there are no UL standards listed in the OJ but............ A DoC is a declaration that a product meets "essential requirements" of the directive not conformity to any particular standard Standards published in the OJ for the LVD only give presumption of conformity to those "essential requirements", they don't absolutely have to be used. If one so chooses, one may construct a product to the "essential requirements" without actually using a harmonized standard. In this case, the methods used to assess whether or not the product conforms to the essential requirements of the directive, must form part of the technical construction file and be available for review. I am not personally familiar with UL60065 but if UL did their homework properly, then the CB report that you mentioned should cover any differences between the UL and EN versions of this document ( well, presuming that you told them all your intended markets) If that is the case, then I really don't see a problem in making a declaration listing either standard. Just document what you did. Best Regards,
