We have designed apparatus for testing small signal valves (vacuum tubes) for use in amplifiers. It is powered by an external 12Vac supply and has sockets for inserting the valves which could have voltage of up to 250 volts DC (current limited to <15 mA). Also the valves themselves can get quite warm (>60°C) during testing.
It would seem that EN 61010 is the most applicable standard, considering that the apparatus will be used by test engineers as well as the home enthusiast. Does anybody know of a more applicable standard?
