As far as I know a list referring to the new LVD have not been published yet. It seems every product already complies with the old and new directives and the new directive has not been transposed into local law and thus it is not legally required to appear on the DoC yet. It is wise and practical approach to create any new DoC to use the new directive. It is no hurry to the new DoCs and saves lots of re-do work for past and current DoCs. Are there any points to add? They need to be transposed into national law to become effective. Usually, the date on which the new Directive has to be cited on DoCs is specified, e.g. for the new EMC Directive it is 20 July 2009 for everything other than fixed installations, which don't need a DoC. But no such date is specified in the new LVD. However, there is a relevant provision in Article 14 of the new Directive: QUOTE References made to the repealed Directive shall be construed as being made to this Directive and should be read in accordance with the correlation table in Annex VI. ENDQUOTE From this, it can be deduced that there is no specific date set for DoCs to bear the reference of the new Directive. But that could change. ENDQUOTE If you think about it, even the Commission is not so evil-minded as to give manufacturers only a few days notice of the need to produce new DoCs. That would be so unreasonable that it cannot possibly be the intention. On the other hand, if DoCs are still referring to the old Directive by this time next year, manufacturers may well then be asked to put things in order. Furthermore, it's NOT a new Directive; it is termed 'consolidated' - it is the old Directive with the amendments that have become applicable over the past years embodied in the text.
