But the second page lists all of the amendments incorporated into the consolidated text, and the issue, page, and date when each amendment was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ). If the Directive or an amendment was published after 1997, you can look up the official text by going to http://eur-lex.europa.eu/JOIndex.do?ihmlang=en Enter the year, series (C or L), and the issue number, then click on "Search". This will take you to the table of contents for that issue, where you can click on the page number to get a .pdf file with the exact legal text of the Directive/amendment as published in the OJ.
