It does mean that, and I don't think it's ambiguous in the case of consumer products 'adopted' for professional use. 'Professional' products NOT marketed for household use are not included, but the coupling of 'office' with 'household' in the text does create further uncertainty. First consider whether a 'stand-by' mode is really necessary. Also, provide a switch that really DOES turn everything off, including the charger for the battery-backed up clock.
