Nice thought, BUT, in some cold-weather states, we probably want the engine
running to stay warm while waiting for assistance. Also, some states require
the use of hazard lights if traveling slowly in the lane.

I like the idea of a "kill" button in the middle of the dash!! Or how about a
"system reset" button? :-)

        Well, my Volvo has one, but it only puts the indicators into hazard 
        mode. Luckily, the throttle is mechanically controlled. They don't make 
        'em like they used to!
