Take a look at 15.103b). There is an exemption for electronic control
equipment used within an industrial plant:
(b) A digital device used exclusively as an electronic control or power
system utilized by a public utility _or in an industrial plant._ The
term public utility includes equipment only to the extent that it is in
a dedicated building or large room owned or leased by the utility and
does not extend to equipment installed in a subscriber’s facility.

Hi,
is for a modular 19'' draw-out unit system with a power supply and
control unit to control LED modules for industrial application in the
laboratory environment (EU: EN 61010-1, EN 61326-1 for LVD and EMCD)
the FCC requirements mandatory?
In my point of view the answer is “yes”.
And I have recommended my customer to apply the FCC Part 15 method
“verification”. Is that totally wrong?
