BTW,
All telcom is not bad in Tennessee. I worked at HCA corporate
offices in Nashville, and
in Cool Springs (just South of Nashville) and the commercial service
there was good and
reliable.
My daughter lives in Clarksville TN (about 30 miles NW of here near
the Kentucky border,
and her internet service is great (very reliable and lightening fast
compared to here! :)
Also Chattanooga TN now has up to gigabit fiber available to home
and business in
town.
Comcast and AT&T are pushing their newer high-speed packaged
services here. I have
heard that they are spotty at best about delivering on service. Being
'residential' in nature
they have no SLA that they can be held to.
