On the subject of CAD software - is everyone aware that Autodesk offer free use of any of their software to students of any age and also to 'Veterans'. There are a number of programs available including AutoCad - normal, Mechanical and Electrical - Inventor, which is interesting and quite easy to get to grips with - 3ds and several more. The programs are fully functional except that and print out has a single line of text on the very edge of the sheet saying 'printed with a student version' to make it unusable commercially..
