Ok, I feel that you do not really understand, what I am trying to explain,
so I made 2 videos. In first one the boards are attached to 7i43 card, I am
pressing F2 to enable/disable pwmgens and all the LEDs on both 7i39s
flicker as they should. In the second video I am trying to do the same with
both 7i39s attached to 5i24. I put on HalShow to display status of enable
and fault pins of all 4 instances of pwmgens - they all match, so
theoretically both cards should flicker LEDs, but in reality only one of
them does.

So I still feel that there is some kind of a problem with this particular
5i24 card. Is there a chance for the jumper settings to affect this?

In the meantime I am trying to set the machine up with 7i43 card to get it
operational and I am using svsttp4_4_7i39.bit firmware. There are _no_
stepgens enabled, so all 8 "sense" lines should be available as GPIO (I
need 4 inputs for homing switches). I verified on the backside of 7i39 card
with multimeter that voltage changes from 0,07V to 3,33V in the cable going
to 7i43 as I trip/untrip those switches, but HalShow does not detect a
change of gpio input pin state. I watched all of them at once, so there was
no way that the one pin I was watching was not the right one.
I just checked - HalShow detects switch trips, when 7i39s are attached to
5i24. Could it be that there is jumper that selects between 5V and 3,3V
inputs on 7i43? I do not see anything like that in manual.
