I never liked this "feature", where the G92 offsets are 
cleared whenever you hit an M02
or abort.  One of the great features of Axis is that it 
stores your G92 offset when you
use the touchoff button, and then restores that offset any 
time it gets cleared.

I think this may not work if you enter the G92 offset in MDI 
mode. Try doing it
with touchoff and see if the behavior changes (assuming you 
are using Axis.)
