Greetings everybody;

I got the register fitted, quite tightly.

I used Andy's idea to make the index signal distribution in the hal file.

I got to where I was ready to tap the first 10mmx1.5 hole in the
backplate, and a G33.1 refuses to start.

loadrt pid names=pid.x,pid.y,pid.z,pid.sl,pid.sh,pid.a
addf pid.sl.do-pid-calcs servo-thread
addf pid.sh.do-pid-calcs servo-thread

setp    hm2_5i25.0.encoder.00.index-enable              true
setp    hm2_5i25.0.encoder.00.index-invert              false
setp    hm2_5i25.0.encoder.00.index-mask                false
net spindle-index-enable <=> hm2_5i25.0.encoder.00.index-enable (true)
net spindle-index-enable <=> motion.spindle-index-enable => pid.sl.index-enable
pid.sh.index-enable (true)
net spindle-at-speed <= near.speed.out => motion.spindle-at-speed (true)

That is in the order as they occur in the hal file.

Help?

Thanks all.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
