Mine was a bit more, secondhad was $500 however it will last for life. The
problem with the drop saw the pivot point is quite small in relation to the
arm. The Milwaukee saw has 2 large linear bearings for the head which are
sturdy and will last for ever.

I do have a good English circular saw table that weighs around 250 kg. I
regularly cut 30+ mm on it, but as some else said they spend 40 hours in
making jigs for a 20 hr job. Once you have the jig, it is good for life. The
biggest plus for jigs is safety. Making a tray for holding the aly while you
cut is both good for setting up the correct length to cut and keeping your
hands a long way from that cutty thing.

Funny that I don't have accidents in the work shop with mills, lathes etc, but
I hit my finger fare and square with a hammer 3 days ago and is a bit of a
mess. Where was the instruction manual and safety sheet for it?

Cheers Wallace
