One other little detail that has shown up once the LinuxCNC was run with the 7i92H configuration. And may not be the 7i92H
The AXIS display shows that 3D perspective of the tool path. With the parallel port version the tool image (a grey cone) is in line with the Z axis. For some reason the 7i92H version has the cone lying on its side. It still traces the correct path but it's like someone kicked it over and it's valiantly trying to trace the path.
