That bothered me too, which is why I did the strange thing that I did,
burying the motor shaft inside the worm gear and using a hexagonal
coupling and socket to connect the two.
(All shown in the video). It worked well but my BS0 clone could not be
adjusted to have low enough backlash in the loose spot without jamming
in the tight spot. A "real" BS0 might be better.
I swapped to a nice combined harmonic drive / crossed-roller / servo
unit without the tilt capacity. Though if I found that I needed to
mount it at an angle I am sure I could find a way.
