Here's the odd thing. A BeagleBone black directly connected to a 7i92H has no trouble running mesaflash and talking to the unit. It can ping 192.168.1.121 which works. And a sudo ifconfig reports Eth0 as 169.254.139.127 mask 255.255.0.0 and broadcast 169.254.255.255 Doesn't even appear like it's on the same network but I can query and do things with the 7i92. The LinuxCNC PC also doesn't have any issues with mesaflash and the 7i92. Go figure. What's up with the Pi4 to 7i92 that is so different and yet it runs LinuxCNC and moves motors? Very strange.
