Hello! So I am now at customer's premises, I have mounted PC inside control cabinet, wired basic safety loops and connected servodrives to 7i33 board - analog outputs and encoder inputs. Encoder inputs seem to work - rawcounts value is changing nicely if I push the machine around. So I wanted to try to move some motors from LinuxCNC. There are total of 4 servodrives and one of them is toolchanger carousel - I wanted to start with that because it will cause no damage with its motion. I usually start with setting pwmgen value with vcp slider so that I can check if there is any analog voltage on output and if the drive is actually moving the motor. The end result just does not make sense to me. Long story short - with machine power still disabled, LinuxCNC enabled and giving any pwmgen (I tested with 2 out of 4) nonzero value, PC restarts in seconds. I thought that my wiring is bad, but it happens even if I unplug all cables from 6i24 board: https://photos.app.goo.gl/882aHXWcDAYcLsf29
Another of previous attempts that was filmed: nonzero value for pwmgen is fine, if it is disabled. PC restarts in 3 seconds, when pwmgens are enabled and value goes from zero to nonzero: https://photos.app.goo.gl/bFTSQout66WjaUXh7 First attempt that I filmed - long video, starts with powering the machine on. PC restarts almost immediately as I change pwmgen value As I am preparing and writing this email, PC is turned on, LInuxCNC enabled, all pwmgen values are zero, for 26 minutes now. This is what happened when I changed the slider value: https://photos.app.goo.gl/hYYmEBvZNdHPvpRg6 Does anyone have any idea what is going on? This is the first time I am seeing something like this.
