I added 2 lines in HAL file (highlighted on right side) and I started
LinuxCNC from terminal for easier understanding if something is wrong.
Looks good to me. So the question for 10K is how to flash it with
5i24_16_svss8_8.bit
I have another machine with LinuxCNC at home that might have pci-e
slot to plug this in, unless the issue will move together with the
board
Hello Peter! Please comment if I am correct that board is actually
recognized by LinuxCNC and how should I proceed with flashing it. I am
supposed to visit customer on monday to start the retrofit, so I
should get the pc more or less prepared.

To check if the card is recognized, run:
halcmd -kf
halcmd: loadrt hostmot2
halcmd: loadrt hm2_pci
If the card is detected you should get a pin linst
