I am not trying to be a smart a**. Only to help.

I really dislike 'try this' suggestions'  :-)

In the the "Menu Bar"

Tools > Options > Advanced > Config Editor > 'search for Enigmail' *read
carefully for this setting

extensions.enigmail.autoDecrypt


*not* set correctly? Or is? Click to toggle it *even if is reads
correctly* several times to false. Either way. Leave it at false.

Sometimes things stick. It happens.
