I think there should be a possibility to tell Thunderbird not to run
its indexing DB on a given set of folders or type of files.

My point of vue is:
well identified E-mail containing S/MIME or PGP/MIME shouldn't be
decrypted and indexed to put a part of their contents in an
unencrypted DB.

I feel this isn't an Enigmail problem but a much larger one within
Thunderbird (and other E-mail clients running their own indexing DB).

    Use of HTML  -  within E-mail  -  is the main contributing factor
    of the worldwide phishing attacks outburst.
