Interesting thing just happened:
I updated my system to 9.1 (clean install), and during the configuration
phase moved the Office 2001 Identities folder into the place where Entourage
expects it - after starting Entourage under the newly installed 9.1, all my
e-mails and accounts where exactly where I left thyem.
Yet, when trying to check new mail, I get an error -3177 for every account,
claiming that it can not find the server. No matter how many times I reset
and recreated a dummy account (for this purpose) would it ever conced to
find the account.
Reverting back to OS 9.0.4, and doing the same move of the Office 2001
Identities folder made everything work just dandy again.
Any ideas what's going on here?
