Apparently, this was some combination 9.1 idiocy and Entourage feature badly interacting. Unlike OE, Entourage has support for proxy settings (nice, actually). For some off reason, 9.1 kept resetting the 'Home' settings in my location manager to the same proxy as the 'office' settings at every restart. Needless to say, that wouldn't work. I blasted/deleted the location manager prefs, did the same to the Intert settings, rebooted and reconfigured, and now everything works out fine (and turned off proxy settings in Entourage - are those location manager aware???)
