This procedure looks  risky to me, but I will consider it. Some questions:

1. Is it also necessary to delete all the contacts from Entourage?
2. How do you delete all the calendar entries? By Applescript? One day at a
time would be a problem as I have over a years worth of calendar entries
from my previous synchronization attempts.
3. Are you certain that after I perform this procedure, the problem will not
occur again? (i.e., do you know the root cause of the problem?)
