Re: SR-1 updater logic could be improved

Here's another curiosity:

When I tried to run the SR updater, it failed even though I was sure all the
original files had the right names and were in the right places. What I'd
forgotten was that I put Stefano Capello's Entourage Email Archive in the
Office folder. Once I removed it, the SR updater ran with no problems.

This does raise the question whether the updater would delete, preserve, or
balk at user-defined templates that are also in the Office folder. I have
yet to see how closely the update matches the custom installation I spent so
long creating in the first place. On launching Word the first time after
running the updater, I saw it install a dozen useless TrueType fonts, so I
think I'm in for another round of pruning throughout the Office suite.
