There's no problem putting things in the Microsoft User Data folder, which
is where such 'extras" belong. I wonder if there would even be a problem
with extra stuff in the outer Microsoft Office 2001 folder - is that where
you had the archiver? But the inner "Office" folder is sacrosanct: it's
more-or-less the "system" folder for Office 2001.

Of course there's no problem with putting custom Word Templates in the
templates folder - but IMO MS should change its location to the MUD folder
so you don't throw them out by accident.
