I had the same problems other than the fact that I do not connect to IMAP. I
did both typical and complex rebuilds, reinstalled Entourage removed
preferences, you name it I tried it ALL to no avail until I turned the
Office Assistant off. I am running without problems now except that I can
not turn the Office Assistant back on.
