I tried to set up Earthlink DSL in November 2000. By February they decided that the lines around here would not support DSL, so I decided to go with RoadRunner cable service. Earthlink couldn't find my records to cancel my account. They finally found that I was listed with an active DSL account and cancelled that. In the meantime, I had not had a credit card charge since November. The kicker - I still receive their weekly email through my old account, and I can still use my old dial-up connection when the cable goes down. The only thing I can't do is use outbound email. And they wonder why they need to raise rates. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
