I am *really* surprised by this response. While you are considering using
Erage for something it is not designed for, that doesn't mean that you
can't. It should have NO effect on the stability of the DB and so long as
you have enough HD space you should be fine. Backups are always advisable
and since you want to rely upon links (I do) then avoid a complex rebuild
unless you ABSOLUTELY have to (as always). Dan and Jed (the developers at
MS) have repeatedly stated on this list the DB is stable and I have found
that to be so since through LOTS of playing ;-)

If you wanted to try it, simply create another ID rather than running
another copy. Have just one ID for notes, etc. (Under File... Switch
Identities...)
