Don't do that , Jim. Do this: let's say your group is called "Colgate
Customers". Change the name to something short inscrutable like "C", or my
favorite ";". (You'll see why in a moment). Or "Undisclosed recipients".

Then make a new CONTACT called "Colgate Customers" and give it the same
default email address as your own that you'll be sending from.

When you want to write a mass email, include TWO recipients:

Colgate Customers
;  [the group]

It will go to all the members of the group, plus you. ach recipient will see
that the email has gone to themselves plus "Colgate Customers", and your
sent message will also indicate that it has gone to "Colgate Customers", so
you know.  If you want to Resend, just add the ";" group again as  second
recipient.
