Yesterday, after completing the above procedure, I remade all my accounts
and resubscribed to all the newsgroups I wanted to receive. Last night, I
shut down my computer as usual and this morning I rebooted. When I selected
an MS news server and did a View>Subscribed Only, the subscribed-to MS
groups showed up as they should, but so did two non-MS newsgroups that I had
previously subscribed to via the Earthlink News Server. The Earthlink
Server itself shows no subscribed groups (which is correct since I didn't
resubscribe to any following yesterday's house cleaning).

On a third server, I see duplicate entries for all the subscribed groups
there. If I look at these groups in the Folder list, some of them have
numbers after the titles (such as 3754 and 2277 -- all are different).

I'm thinking I need to do a Database Rebuild but thought I'd ask first in
case anyone thinks something else is going on. Everything else seems to be
operating properly. Am I thinking right?

Beth
