Of course that's a good thing from my point of view :-), but it does make me wonder what could be different about my set-up. On the surface, I look identical to Paul (well, our computers do anyway). So what's the difference? I turned on quartz text smoothing when it came out, in EvX and WordX (I don't use IE much, so I'm not sure about that). I haven't experienced the "lost text" behavior. I tend to have very few added applications, so is it possible that there's a common one that I don't have that Paul and the other people who are experiencing this problem do? It doesn't really make sense that it would be pure luck.
