I'm by no means recommending that you *not* install the update. You *should*
install the update. You are just going to want to run the Office Remove tool
and reinstall Office. None of your Entourage data will be deleted (unless
you elect to do so in the Remove Tool) and if you are really feeling
paranoid you can just copy your Microsoft User Data folder to the Desktop or
onto a removable disk or burn an archive copy on CD... take your pick.

Install the update. Just make sure to install the update while logged in as
the same user that installed Office in the first place.
