I am using Entourage X with an IMAP account at my university, with outgoing
email sent through an Earthlink SMTP account over an airport connection. I
can receive and send mail just fine....however, email sent with file
attachments does *not* show up as sent in my Sent folder.

At first I assumed that the mail did not send at all, and attempted to
resend many times. Then, I learned that the email (w/ attachments intact)
was in fact received by the recipient, every time I attempted to send it.
However, there is still no record of it having been sent in my Sent
folder...so how am I supposed to know that it went? This is most vexing.
Regular email without attachments shows up in my Sent folder immediately.

Email w/ attachments appears to send in the normal fashion (I hear the chime
within a few seconds of clicking "Send"), but it does not view in the Sent
folder. Then, a minute or two later, I get an error message which states
that mail was unable to be stored in the folder indicated (but doesn't say
what folder that is) and has been defaulted to a corresponding local folder
(but, again, does not say where that folder is either). A search in both
entourage and on my hard drive for the message does not turn up anything.
The error number is -3155. I have searched the internet for this error
message and have not come up with anything concrete.

Does anyone know any information on this issue?

Thanks in advance...

Deborah Gar Reichman
