Thanks, Mickey...I tried re-selecting the IMAP "sent" folder under
Accounts/Advanced...this had no effect. And the IMAP folders were the only
ones available to choose from; I could not pick the local Sent folder.
Hmmmmm. The test message I sent out tonight, w/ attachment, ended up in the
local "Outbox" folder, with a little note saying the message was sent....but
I can't seem to get it to go into either of the Sent folders. Interestingly
enough, some other random sent emails around the same time without
attachments also show up in the local Outbox and not in the Sent folder.
And yet still other emails sent at around the same time (also without
attachments) went right to the IMAP sent folder like I would expect them to.
As near as I can tell, if it has an attachment, it might go to the Outbox or
nowhere, definitely not to the Sent folder---but it does get sent. If it
doesn't have an attachment, it will most likely go to the Sent folder, but
it might just show up in the Outbox. Grrrr.

I have yet to call Earthlink, but that is my next step.

Thanks for all the suggestions....
