(Perhaps MS, if > not MBS, in cahoots with manufacturers of hard drives and other storage > media? ;) ) Saving space does not seem to be a priority for anyone interested in upgrading hardware and software. the hard drives are becoming so enormous, who knows what to do with it? 80 GB, 120 GB, and so on. The essence of Entourage is is interconnectability - the links. I don't think it would be a major priority to remove attachments when keeping them is handier. Probably the priority will be on making performance so fast and increasing the maximum size of the database so that there will be no advantage in removing attachments. The hard drive manufacturers are way out ahead of the MBU - no need for cahoots. Just follow along after them. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
