For an improved speed of the front end at least, try using the 'move' menu/toolbar button. Then at least you won't see the 30 second freeze before any copying begins. > > -Attachments that are images should show up as thumbnails in the attachments > pane. Good suggestion. Customisable toolbars has been requested many, many times. I am sure it will arrive sometime. You can turn the toolbar off in the prefs, if you like. However, you may find you experience of entourage enhanced if you try exploring the use of categories etc. > > -folder icon options (I hate the default folder) > > -If I am arranging a folder by "To" or "From" or "subject" (and shown in a > group) I should be able to drag the heading to another folder (I know I can > use the contextual menu, but sometimes dragging is more natural). Agreed - it sometimes seems counter-intuitive that you can select groups and messages, but can only drag messages. > > -If a folder is arranged by a particular field and shown in as a group there > should be some easy way to navigate from group to group. An MBOX file is a text file. You can open it up in BBEdit or any other text editor. Or did you mean you want to save the messages as individual text files - one file for each message? > > -entourage should respect my font smoothing prefs! E2004 changed the text engine used for rendering text on screen. This was a massive change, although it doesn't really appear in the 'new feature' lists. However, this change has had some 'knock on' effects that will probably be worked out over the next two or three updates. > > -Apples built in faxing should be supported (right now the fax dialog box is > really screwed up in Entourage and faxing often fails. Obviously, the macBU has limited resources, so not every item on a wish list can be incorporated, but every item gets one more vote on the feature list for the next release, so they do do some good. -- Barry Wainwright Microsoft MVP (see http://mvp.support.microsoft.com for details) Seen the All-New Entourage Help Pages? - Check them out: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
