We use Entourage (pre SP2) and some teachers are now seeing an error message

"Mail could not be received at this time.

The server for account XXXXX returned the error "Logon Failure: unknown user
name or bad password." Your username/password or security settings may be
incorrect.  Would you like to try re-entering your password?"

You can do this over and over again, AD is not registering a bad password
attempt.

If we rebuild the profile, this all may work for a short while, then
re-appear.

We are strictly using Exchange integration.  No LDAP or other mail accounts.

Exchange 2003, OS 10.4.2 Entourage (Pre SP2).

Any ideas other than trying SP2?
