Have you installed MenuCalendarClock? (It shows things from the
Entourage calendar.) If so, it will keep launching Entourage every
minute or so. You either have to kill it, or keep Entourage open.

Sorry. OK, it's not launching itself - something else is launching it. (It
can't do anything if it's not running.) Even Office Notifications (reminders
for Entourage tasks and events) can't launch anything.

There are two possibilities I know of:

1) iCal. If you use iCal, check to see if there's a repeating to-do that has
an "Open file" or "Run script" alarm which does something in Entourage or
even something to do with email. (Entourage may be set as your default email
app. Open Apple Mail and check its preferences for default mail app.)

2) CronniX: if you have it, it may also be "opening" a file (Entourage).

There are probably also other utilities similar to CronniX that run "cron
jobs" (a Unix setup to run on a timer).
