I don't think you need any events in Entourage for MCC to launch it.
Try using Activity Monitor to quit MenuCalendarClock, and I'll bet
that Entourage will stop "launching itself."

I have installed MenuCalendarClock for Entourage, but there are no
events in Entourage. It hasn't even been configured.
I have LaunchBar but it isn't triggering that.
