Yes you can considering every time I repair permissions, I then have to fix what repair permissions broke (for those who care about the details, I run my own mail server and frequently access the system remotely using SSH. Once in the shell (Terminal), I use Pine, a unix mail program, to read mail. Pine has a major problem with the permissions "Repair permissions" puts on /var/mail (where Postfix places the incoming mail) as it breaks Pine's file locking mechanism and therefore could cause corruption of the incoming mail file). -- Larry Stone [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
