Shift h does not work with a different keyboard. Caps Lock H does work. Pressing and holding Shift h changes the text cursor to a pointer and then repeating capital h does appear. If the To field is active, Shift h closes it as if I clicked out of it. We've looked at my scripts, and I don't seem to have anything with an \sh at the end. First, I compacted my database (about 2 hours), and then I rebuilt/repaired the database (about 5 hours, most of which on Step 3, copying data into new database). It's persistent across restarts, relaunches, and after a Safe Boot. It even persisted after moving all of the Entourage prefs that I could find out of their proper folders. I also checked Universal Access to make sure the keystroke hadn't been intercepted by another computer function, but can't see that it has. You think I might have to reinstall my whole OS to get back a single letter in Entourage? Frankly, it would be less painful to use a different mail app instead. I did try to update Entourage to 11.3, via the auto update, but the update daemon thingy died with an Application Not Responding.
